Jeremiah Trotter on Wake Forest's Offense: 'Definitely gonna be a good challenge for us'

Jeremiah Trotter caught up with the media on Monday ahead of Clemson's matchup with Wake Forest.
On the interception against Syracuse: “It felt good to be able to get that pick… we were a good defensive core, I feel like everybody was doing their jobs. If you watch the play back, XT got really good pressure on the quarterback, probably sped up the clock a little bit in his head and allowed me to be able to read the quarterback's eyes and allowed me to be able to get that interception.”
On Wake Forest’s offense: “I feel like they keep a lot of the same scheme that they had when he (Sam Hartman) was here. Definitely gonna be a good challenge for us. A lot of RPO’s is what I feel like we’re gonna be going up against. That zone, read, option kind of scheme. We just gotta come ready to play and have the right mindset.”
On TJ Parker: “Sometimes when a young guy comes into the film room, they just don’t know how key that part of the game is. He’s always watching film and then the way he practices as well. You may not see, from young guys, running to the ball and trying to be as technical as possible, like he’s playing an actual game, but in practice. I see that when I am out there practicing with him.”
On how it felt to get the win against Syracuse: “I thought it was great to get that win after a tough game. Definitely got it back to where we need to be as far as the season. It shows that type of mentality, the type of mindset, that we had throughout the week as in trying to flush it and learn from our mistakes and move onto the next game and get prepared.”
