Clemson adds three-star DL to 2025 Class
Clemson football added defensive tackle Makhi Williams-Lee to the 2025 recruiting class on Wednesday. He is rated a three-star recruit by 247Sports, On3, and Rivals but ESPN rankings have him as a four-star prospect and No. 27 defensive tackle in the 2025 class.
Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, Williams-Lee decommitted from N.C. State on Sept. 24 and subsequently received an offer from the Tigers later that day.
Clemson lost a commitment from four-star defensive tackle Isaiah Campbell on Sept. 20.
Standing at 6’2 and weighing 280 pounds, Williams-Lee had 77 total tackles, 22 TFLs, 10 sacks, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries as a junior for Lakeside High School.
Williams-Lee made a visit to campus on Sept. 28 for the 40-14 victory over Stanford.
He has 47 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and 5 sacks in six games this season.
Williams-Lee is the 14th commit in the 2025 class.
