Tyler Brown drops what would've been a first down on 3rd and short and Clemson goes three-and-out on their opening drive.

And Clemson tries to a fake punt but Josh Sapp wasn't expecting it. Penn State takes over in Clemson territory.

22-yard field from Penn State is good. The Nittany Lions take advantage of the failed fake punt and get the first points of the afternoon.

Ashton Hampton with a big hit as the pass was dropped on 2nd down hurts himself.

Penn State gains 21 on 3rd down but still five yards short of the first down. Clemson gets the ball back with 4:20 left in the first quarter inside the 20 yard line.

A tough finish to what has been an up and down 2025 season for the Tigers, one that started as a preseason top 5 team finishes 7-6 and unranked. A critical offseason begins for Dabo Swinney and this Clemson program begins now.
