Clemson, S.C. - Clemson graduate and All-American Brie Clark (Daphne, Ala.) will compete for a National Championship on Floor Exercise at the 2026 NCAA Gymnastics Championships on April 16 in Fort Worth, Texas. The Individual National Champions will be determined in conjunction with the team National Semifinals, which take place at 4:30 p.m. ET and 9 p.m. ET on ESPN2/ESPN+. Clark will compete in Semifinal I with Stanford, which opens on floor.
Clark will then await the results of both team Semifinals and the other individual competitors to learn her final standing. She is the first Clemson Gymnast to earn a bid at Nationals, as the team finished just 0.100 shy of Stanford at the Baton Rouge Regional.
“We are excited for Brie Clark to have the historic chance to represent Clemson for the first time on the biggest stage in college gymnastics,” said Co-Head Coaches Justin Howell & Liz Crandall-Howell. "She has been one of the steadiest, most explosive gymnasts in the nation all season and has earned the right to compete for a National title, and embodies the “One Day Better” mentality. We can’t wait for the nation to see the joy and skill she brings to the floor. Brie brings such joy to every performance that everyone who watches her can’t help but be drawn in.”
Clark posted a 9.950 in each of her appearances at the Regional to qualify for the individual nod, and has earned a 9.900 or above in all 14 of her floor routines this season.
She is a three-time All-ACC selection on Floor and won the event nine times this season.
