Clemson Football's Twitter Account 'Knocks One Out of the Ballpark'
If there was ever a question about which college football team has the best Twitter feed in America, Clemson put it to rest today.
If you have been following the World Series, you might know that Sports Illustrated, famous for their bad predictions and jinxes, nailed the 2017 World Series Champions as the Houston Astros.
In June of 2014 for just $4.99 you could have purchased this issue of Sports Illustrated. It's now selling for over $200.
Today, Clemson's Football Twitter account @ClemsonFB, "knocked one out of the ballpark" with this "issue" of Sports Illustrated dated February of 1992 claiming that they predicted Clemson would wear white this weekend against North Carolina State.
Closer inspection will show you several subtle jokes placed on the front cover of the magazine.
Clemson Football's Twitter account became the most followed college football account in July. Tweets, like the one they put out today, are the reason that they are still at the top of the list.
Well played @ClemsonFB, well played.
