Shooting guard Jamarion Batemon‍, Milwaukee Academy of Science (WI), will announce his college decision on Monday by committing to Clemson, Iowa State, Marquette, or West Virginia.

Batemon (6'3, 170), a four-star prospect and top 120 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class, received an offer from the Tigers on June 5. On June 21, he named his finalists from 13 offers.

Iowa State is perceived to be the leader for the Milwaukee native with Marquette as a distant second, according to basketball recruiting analysts. Both schools have hosted Batemon for unofficial visits while Clemson and West Virginia never saw him on their campuses.

With Chase Hunter and Boston College transfer Jaeden Zackery having just one year of eligibility remaining, the Tigers must recruit guards for the 2025 class from either the high school level or the transfer portal.

Could the need for backcourt depth in 2025 aid Clemson in an uphill battle for Batemon's pledge?

Batemon averaged 20.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.2 assists last season. He also made 43 percent of his three-point attempts.

Batemon will commit live on 247Sports (YouTube) at 3:30 PM EST.
