No. 2 Clemson Welcomes Loyola (Md.) to Historic Riggs Field Tuesday
CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson men’s soccer (1-1-1) returns to Historic Riggs Field on Tuesday, welcoming Loyola (Md.) (0-2-2) for a 7:00 p.m. match broadcast on ACCNX.
The Tigers enter Tuesday’s match at 1-1-1 on the year after dropping a hard-fought match against new ACC-foe Stanford on Friday night. Lukas Magnason and Joran Gerbet scored the two goals for the Tigers, with Gerbet’s goal serving as the 3000th goal in program history.
Loyola is coming off of two games last week, a 6-1 loss at No. 2 Marshall and a 0-0 draw against Saint Joseph’s on Friday night. Charlie Herley and Sean McEvoy have each scored one of the two goals on the season for the Greyhounds.
Tuesday’s match has been designated as Youth League Night and fans can purchase tickets on ClemsonTigers.com.
