In a live announcement on 247Sports, 6-foot-3 combo guard Zac Foster‍ out of Atlanta's Woodward Academy revealed his decision to commit to the Clemson Tigers on Thursday.

Foster, ranked as the No. 69 overall recruit in the 2025 class, chose the Tigers over Virginia Tech.

The dynamic guard, who received an offer on June 4, made his decision after taking an official visit to Clemson for the Appalachian State football game.

Foster has the ability to play both guard spots. He’s an explosive scorer and playmaker with the size to defend multiple positions. His quick first step and impressive shooting range make him a dangerous offensive threat, while his length and athleticism allow him to impact the game on the defensive end.

He averaged 12.8 points, 3.6 assists, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.9 steals at Woodward last season. This summer, he averaged 16 points, 3.4 assists, and 4.5 rebounds in 13 games with the Atlanta Celtics (17U-AAU).

Foster's commitment comes as Clemson aims to build on its recent success, an Elite Eight appearance in the 2023-24 NCAA Basketball Tournament. He joins three-star forward Trent Steinour‍ in the Tigers' 2025 recruiting class.
