Opening Statement: "Proud of our guys. Just another good win and a hard-fought game, physical game. But in the day to, you know, get the objective done, I'm proud of these guys, you know, to the type of September and October that they've had, and they put themselves in a position that we all wanted to be in, but, you know, we got to keep going. Got a lot of work to do. At the end of the day, we're just a six-and-one team, and now it's all about November, and there's so much that we can still do better and, you know, have to do better if we want to finish the way we want to.”

On facing Louisville next weekend: "We’ve got a huge opportunity with Louisville here at home to kick off November. It'll be, again, a very, very tough matchup. Louisville's a very good football team. Got a chance to study them a little bit last week, getting ready for Virginia. I mean, they can score points in droves and the quarterback is a pro. A really good scheme, and some guys, they can really challenge you on the defensive side, so it's a good football team."

On heading into November with a chance to do something special: “Yeah, absolutely. It's awesome. I mean, last year at this time we had a really good November, and it allowed us to have a good finish to our season. Obviously, we had a lot of disappointment in September and October with some just couldn't win a close game—overtime, double overtime— just some tough, tough moments for us. To see the guys finish the way they did last year, it really gave us good momentum into the offseason—but it's the same thing. The difference this year is, man, all of your goals are still there. So, it is exciting. It's hard to get to this point.”
