And as soon as I hit send on that, TJ Parker drills Yarnell and fumbles. Jahiem Lawson recovers for Clemson as part of a six sack day so far. Tigers get the ball back with 9:22 and counting, leading 17-7.

Cade Klubnik is sacked and the Tigers punt again. He missed a wide open Antonio Williams as Greg McElroy pointed out on the TV broadcast.

The good news is Pitt is pinned inside the Clemson 10 and will have a long way to go as Aidan Swanson boomed it.

As good as Clemson's defense is playing, I don't think you need to force things offensively. But the Tigers have certainly not been as sharp offensively here in the third quarter with only 12 yards of offense.

No scoring in the third quarter as we've got a defensive slugfest on our hands. Pitt is on the move though as we head to the final quarter after a first down on 4th and 1.

The second half offensive struggles continue for Clemson as Klubnik tries to hit TJ Moore near the sideline but he's ruled out of bounds. Pitt ball now. I'll say this: Whichever defense can come up with a score, will win this game.

Aveion Terrell gets called for pass interference inside the Clemson 10. Pitt has a player down for an injury, but it will be first and goal Panthers. We have 8:24 to play in the contest with Clemson clinging to a 17-10 lead.

We go to the 2-minute timeout with Clemson and Pitt tied at 17.

Desmond Reid just picked up a huge first down for Pitt down inside the Clemson 17. Pitt has the Tigers on the ropes as they are looking to take the lead late.
