The Storylines

A win on Saturday would be Clemson's eighth against power conference opponents in 2024 and would give the Tigers a win over the team with the SEC's longest active winning streak. Only three teams in the nation have more wins vs. power conferences than Clemson.

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone is doing well and had a great Thanksgiving!

Well, it's here! Clemson and South Carolina about to tee it up in about 25 minutes in Death Valley in what is the biggest meeting in my mind between the two teams. Bragging rights and potential College Football Playoff implications on the line. The game is on ESPN for those at home.

Touchdown South Carolina. LaNorris Sellers making magic happen on the scramble. That's a 25-yard touchdown if the play stands on the review. Gamecocks kept it on the ground the majority of the drive and the Tigers run defense left a lot to be desired after that drive.

Clemson punts and the fair catch is caught at the 25-yard line. 7:59 to play before the half. Big series coming here with the game tied at 7 as the momentum is starting to swing towards the visitors from Columbia.

HALFTIME | Clemson and South Carolina are tied at 7.

Tigers elect not to go for the first down on 4th and short after the quick out was ruled incomplete on third down, which was the right call considering they get the ball to start the second half. A defensive stalemate between the two rival schools right now as it has been some plays here and there that have been the difference. Let's see which offense can open it up in the second half.
