Gyan Earns Second Consecutive ACC Offensive Player of the Week Honor

Clemson, S.C. – Clemson sophomore Ransford Gyan has been named the ACC Offensive Player of the Week, it was announced today by the league office. The award is Gyan’s second consecutive of his Clemson career and the second Offensive Player of the Week award for the Tigers this season. 

Friday night Gyan netted his second brace of the season in a 3-2 win over No. 10 Pitt in the Tigers ACC opener. This season, the Sunyani, Ghana, native has scored in all four matches and is first on the team with six goals so far this season. 

Clemson hosts VCU on Tuesday night with kickoff set for 6 p.m. and live stats will be available.
