The Storylines

No. 12 Clemson opens ACC play on the road after rallying from a 16-0 deficit to beat Troy 27-16. The Tigers look to keep the offense on schedule behind senior QB Cade Klubnik and featured back Adam Randall, while the defense’s top priority is containing Georgia Tech’s dual-threat QB Haynes King—who has been managing an injury since the Colorado game but rushed for three touchdowns in the opener. Special teams loom large again with punter Jack Smith and kicker Nolan Hauser potentially pivotal in a tight one.

Clemson takes over with 9:47 left in Q1. Yellow Jackets drove right down the field, but couldn't punch it in.

Klubnik keeps the ball, gets hit, and it pops free....recovered by the Yellow Jackets at the 29-yard line. -- Wifi here...as good as Clemson's opening drive...maybe worse.

Georgia Tech knocks through a 40-yard FG to take a 3-0 lead with 5:50 left in Q1.

Clemson should ALWAYS use Randall as an advantage on the field. Line him up in five wide and motion him in. Line him up in the backfield and motion him out...just saw it TWICE and two positives happened.

Note: I'm undefeated as an OC...also winless.
