No harm, no foul with a 3-3 week, but we come into week thirteen looking for separation with a 43-29 season record. The slate seems relatively quiet, but that can make for the toughest weeks to pick. Let's see what we can do.

Saturday, November 22nd:

#22 Missouri at #8 Oklahoma (-5.5):

Oklahoma is at home with the better early-down plan. If the Sooners keep Missouri in long fields and avoid the one turnover that flips momentum, the middle quarters tilt crimson. OU has more ways to finish drives, and that shows up when possessions shorten after the break.

Lowell's Lock: Oklahoma covers -5.5

#15 USC at #7 Oregon (-10.5)

Autzen favors the team that plays from in front. Oregon can use pace to stress space, then let the pass rush do the closing. If the Ducks cap USC’s explosives and stay clean in the red zone, separation shows up in the third, and the number stays live into the fourth.

Lowell's Lock: Oregon covers -10.5

Louisville at SMU (-3.5)

SMU’s script plays clean in this building. Stay on schedule, protect the ball, win money downs, and field position does the rest. Louisville can trade if it lands shots, but if the Ponies force sustained drives, two middle-quarter scores are enough to carry the cover.

Lowell’s Lock: SMU covers -3.5

#20 Tennessee (-3.5) at Florida

If Florida turns this into a grind and steals one short field, the number becomes their friend late. The Swamp helps on third down and in the kicking game, and a tight whistle favors the home side. Expect a one-score
finish either way; take the points.

Lowell’s Lock: Florida covers +3.5

Coastal Carolina at South Carolina (-24.5)

The Gamecocks likely control the script, yet Coastal is scrappy enough to live inside a big spread if turnovers stay neutral. If South Carolina doesn’t stack early short fields, the back door is live into the fourth.

Lowell’s Lock: Coastal Carolina covers +24.5

Furman at Clemson (-41.5)

Clemson rolls, but the clock is your teammate at this price. Once the Tigers get control, the rotation and running time can invite a back door in the fourth. A big number in a game that can shorten fast.

Score Prediction: 45-17 Clemson
Lowell’s Lock: Furman covers +41.5
