Clemson is headed to New York. The Tigers (7–5, 4–4 ACC) will meet Penn State in the Pinstripe Bowl on December 27 at Yankee Stadium, marking a postseason matchup between two programs that began the year in the preseason Top 5 but fell well short of expectations.
Penn State enters at 6–6 and returns to The Big Apple for the first time since 2014. The Nittany Lions made headlines in October when they fired head coach James Franklin after a turbulent start marked by inconsistency and internal frustration.
This will be just the second meeting between the Tigers and Nittany Lions. The first came in the 1988 Citrus Bowl, where Clemson earned a 35–10 victory under Danny Ford.
Kickoff is set for Noon on ABC.
