Clemson basketball has finalized its 2026-27 non-conference schedule, giving Brad Brownell’s Tigers several opportunities to build an NCAA Tournament résumé before ACC play takes center stage.

Clemson announced the complete non-league slate Friday, featuring eight regular-season games at Littlejohn Coliseum, three games at the Maui Invitational and a difficult December stretch that includes Auburn, TCU, South Carolina and Cincinnati.

The Tigers will play home exhibitions against Georgia on Oct. 23 and Presbyterian on Oct. 28 before opening the regular season against Stetson on Nov. 2.

After home games against American and North Dakota, Clemson gets its first major test when Georgetown visits Littlejohn on Nov. 13. The Hoyas defeated Clemson 79-74 in Washington last season.

The schedule gets considerably tougher later in November.

Clemson opens the Maui Invitational against Ole Miss on Nov. 23 and will face either BYU or Washington the following day. The Tigers' third opponent will come from the other side of a field that includes Arizona, Colorado State, Providence and VCU.

Clemson returns home to face Auburn on Dec. 1 as part of the ACC/SEC Challenge before hosting Le Moyne on Dec. 6.

Then comes perhaps the most important stretch of the non-conference schedule.

Clemson visits TCU on Dec. 12, travels to Columbia to face South Carolina on Dec. 15 and meets Cincinnati at Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati on Dec. 19. That's three significant games in eight days away from Littlejohn.

The Tigers beat both South Carolina and Cincinnati last season, defeating the Gamecocks 68-61 at home and Cincinnati 68-65 in Greenville.

Clemson closes its non-conference schedule against Colgate at Littlejohn on Dec. 22.

In all, Clemson has seven guaranteed regular-season games against major-conference opponents outside the ACC: Georgetown, Ole Miss, either BYU or Washington, Auburn, TCU, South Carolina and Cincinnati. The Tigers will get another neutral-site opportunity in their third game at Maui.

That gives a reworked Clemson roster several chances to strengthen its postseason profile after the Tigers went 24-11, finished 12-6 in the ACC and reached the NCAA Tournament for a third consecutive season in 2025-26.

Tip times and most television assignments will be announced later.
