Sophomore Juju Harris scored one goal and assisted on the other two as the Tigers battled to a 3-3 tie against Boston College (8-2-1, 1-2-1 ACC) on Sunday afternoon at Historic Riggs Field. With the result, Clemson moved to 6-2-3 (2-1-1 ACC). Senior Dani Davis added one goal and one assist, while Anna Castenfelt scored to round out the goal scorers.
“We talked [at halftime] about some of the little adjustments we wanted to make that we felt would make a difference in the game, and I think we found it,” said Head Coach Eddie Radwanski. “We scored two really good goals to take control of the game and have the lead. After that, at the end of the game, I think we took our foot off the gas pedal. Give Boston College credit for not giving up and continuing to fight and compete. That's a harsh lesson for us. Prior to the match on Sunday, Clemson honored six members of the 2026 squad for Senior Day. The seniors included: Dani Davis (Port Washington, N.Y.), Jenna Tobia (Warren, N.J.), Tatum Short (Las Vegas, Nev.), Gabby Hoschek (Raleigh, N.C.), Erin Sherden (Melbourne, Fla.) and Christian Brathwaite (Charlotte, N.C.).
Clemson applied pressure early in the first half, taking eight of their 12 first-half shots in the first 20 minutes of play. Harris capitalized on one of those attempts after a ricocheted shot by sophomore Carla Small landed at Harris’ feet for a goal that slipped past BC’s goalkeeper, Olivia Shippee. The Eagles answered 45 seconds later with a shot that got past a diving Nona Reason to even things at 1-1 entering halftime.
The Tigers reclaimed the lead in the 73’ after Castenfelt netted her team-high sixth goal of the 2026 campaign off assists from Harris and Davis. Davis followed this goal up with one of her own in the 78’ that was again assisted by Harris to extend Clemson’s lead to 3-1.
The Eagles got one goal back in the 86’ of play after a handball inside the box awarded them a penalty kick that they capitalized on. They leveled the match at 3-3 in the 89’ of play after a corner kick for Boston College bounced outside of the 18-yard box. BC’s Sophie Reale fielded the ball and took one dribble away from the defenders to fire a shot through the chaos into the back of the net.
Neither side got another look on net in the final 70 seconds of play, resulting in the 3-3 tie. Clemson outshot Boston College 20-11 with seven Tiger shots being on target. In net, Reason finished with four saves.
