First Half Notes:

•Clemson scored on its first possession of the game on a 23-yard field goal by Alex Spence.  That was Spence’s first career field goal attempt.

•When Clemson scored on Spence’s field goal on the opening possession, it marked the 14th time in the last 36 games that Clemson scored on its opening possession or since Tony Elliott and Jeff Scott became co-coordinators. The Tigers have 12 touchdowns and two field goals on opening possessions in those 36 games.

•Feaster’s 60-yard touchdown reception from Kelly Bryant was just the second catch of his career.  His first reception was on the play before.

•Feaster’s 60-yard touchdown catch was the longest by a Clemson running back since the 2013 Wake Forest game when D.J. Howard had a 75-yard touchdown reception from Tajh Boyd.

•Clemson gained 271 yards of total offense in the first half, the third time this year Clemson has had at least 250 in the first half. Clemson had 326 against Kent State, 334 vs. Louisville and 271 in this game.

•Hunter Renfrow had two receptions on Clemson’s first drive of the game.  The second reception was the 100th of his career.

•Ray-Ray McCloud had three catches in the first half and needs one in the second half to reach 100 in his career.
