Clemson's 2018 recruiting class is one of the best that the Tigers have ever had when you consider the talented players already in the fold. The Tigers' brand recognition is at an all-time high and as we close in on National Signing Day in February, Clemson is sure to find themselves in the mix for high-value targets who decommit from other schools.

Recently, 2018 4-star defensive back Kelvin Joseph‍ announced that he would be reopening his recruitment and decommitting from LSU. The Bayou Bengals were defeated this past weekend by Troy and played the majority of their game in front of a sparse crowd as disappointed Tiger fans left the stadium early.

Joseph, one of the top prospects in the state of Louisiana, is a ball hawk. In terms of size, at 6'1 and nearly 200 pounds, he's got the size to be disruptive. He needs to improve on his recognistion but has the speed to make up for any initial mistakes.

Joseph committed to LSU in February of 2016, but recieved a Clemson offered in April of 2017. Some believe that the Clemson offer is one that Joseph coveted and given Clemson's recent success, it's no surprise that he's planning an official visit to Death Valley when Clemson faces Florida State in mid-November.

Joseph also made several visits to Alabama while committed to LSU and has plans to be in Tallahassee this weekend for Florida States game against Miami.
