On Clemson and Alabama:

"I think there is some vulnerability shown for both of these teams. To me, I think it is Clemson and Alabama, and then we need to find 3 and 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 to battle for that 4th spot. I will be surprised if Clemson or Alabama loses down the stretch. But they are not perfect football teams, Clemson has a hard time in spots throwing the ball down the field. I think the same thing goes for Alabama. Jalen Hurts whether he is pressured or he doesn't feel comfortable in the pocket he has a hard time throwing the ball. I think these are two teams that are mirror images of each other."

Shifting the timeline for a Friday game:

"I mean you're 21, you bounce back. On a serious note, I think it is tough from a game planning standpoint because everything is accelerated. Even though it doesn't change a ton, you don't get to have your standard walkthrough on campus before you take off on the plane. At the end of the day, I think they are okay. Thursday I think is a little bit more of a condensed schedule that causes some more problems."

There is no team in the country that has a worse loss on their resume than NC State.

On NC State:

"There is no team in the country that has a worse loss on their resume than NC State. I mean they are sitting there, and they're just like everytime they see that South Carolina lost another game they have to be thinking, 'What are we doing? How did we lose to them?' I think that's the hardest part if you are NC State. Otherwise, they are in prime position. They are very much in the "Auburn" position. Which a one-loss team that continues to get better over the course of the year. I think they are going to be a tough out for Clemson."
