Elite NFL Cornerback Says Deshaun Watson Will "100 Percent" Win an MVP

Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey has never been shy with his words, and is known as one of the biggest trash-talkers in the game today. In an interview with GQ, Ramsey dished on all sorts of topics including his upbringing, the upcoming season for the Jaguars, and which NFL quarterbacks are good and which are, as he put it, "trash".

One of the quarterbacks that he put in the good category is former Clemson signal-caller Deshaun Watson. In fact, he thinks Watson is poised to win an MVP within the next few years.

"Deshaun Watson, he'll be the league MVP in a couple years. One hundred percent. There's not even a debate about that."

"Deshaun Watson, he'll be the league MVP in a couple years. One hundred percent. There's not even a debate about that. Him and Carson Wentz, for every year starting now until five to ten years, it's gonna be them two. They're that good."

Getting praise from another player in the league is one thing, but Ramsey is praising a divisional rival's quarterback. That's something that doesn't happen often. It isn't unwarranted, however. Before tearing his ACL last season, Watson was on a tear. In seven games, Watson passed for 1,699 yards and 19 touchdowns, and also ran for 269 yards with two more scores.
