While changes were made at quarterback in Clemson, Phommachanh is still ready to compete

As Clemson gets ready to play Syracuse on Saturday with a new starting quarterback, Clemson commits are ready for another Friday night of action and Phommachanh hopes to play his first complete game tomorrow.

Now that the dust has settled a bit and senior Kelly Bryant will transfer and freshman Trevor Lawrence will start his first game on Saturday against Syracuse, Clemson is left with three quarterbacks to finish out the season. 

Redshirt freshman Chase Brice is now the sole backup to Lawrence and former walk-on Ben Batson, son of Joey Batson, the director of strength and conditioning, is the third string quarterback.
