Inside the Numbers: Clemson vs NC State
This week we take a look at the NC State Wolfpack. Heading into the season State fans were anxious to see if Coach Dave Doeren could coach himself off the hot seat.
A week one 35-28 loss to South Carolina didn't help his cause. However, the Pack ran off six straight wins until last week's 35-14 loss to Notre Dame.
At 6-2, 4-0, NC State remains undefeated in ACC play and would wrap up the Atlantic Division with a win over Clemson. Dave Doeren, whose job was in jeopardy after losing in week one, has a chance to put the Wolfpack in the ACC Championship game for the first time.
With a win over Clemson, the Wolfpack would have to lose all three of their final games (@ Boston College, @ Wake Forest, North Carolina) for the Tigers even to have a shot at going to Charlotte.
