– First things first, some injury news: Swinney said Jake Venables is “definitely going to be out” due to a tweaked hamstring. Xavier Thomas got banged up at practice and is in the concussion protocol, Swinney also said.

Thomas is questionable for Saturday’s game against Louisville.
