Clemson to battle Penn State tonight
Clemson and Penn State will tipoff from Bryce Jordan Center in University Park, Pa at 7:00 p.m. ET. The game will be shown on Big Ten Network+, while William Qualkinbush and Sarah-Jo Lawrence will have the radio call for the Clemson Tigers Network.
Clemson Notes:
- Clemson (2-2) downed Alabama State, 76-43, on Monday morning in the Tigers’ Education Day game.
- Shania Meertens led Clemson with 15 points on the day, while Amari Robinson added the Tigers’ first double-double of the year (and first of her career) with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Kendall Spray dished out four assists and had a team-high six turnovers.
- Kendall Spray is now 21 points shy of 1,000 for her career. The redshirt junior came to Clemson with 955 career points during her time at UT Martin.
- Senior Kobi Thornton now has over 1,000 career points and 600 career rebounds.
Penn State Notes:
- Penn State is 2-2 on the young season after collecting a 72-59 win over Fordham on Nov. 13 and a 73-67 victory at Towson in the season opener on Nov. 5.
- Three Lady Lions are averaging double-digit points, with Kamaria McDaniel leading the way with 18.0 points per game. Siyeh Frazier (14.0 ppg) and Lauren Ebo (10.5 ppg) round out the double-digit scorers.

- Penn State leads the series 4-1.
- The last meeting between the two teams was December 7, 2002 in Clemson, SC. Penn State won 80-66.
- Former Clemson player and head coach Itoro Coleman is an assistant with the Nittany Lions.
