THE LEDE

• Clemson hosts Presbyterian College in the first-ever matchup between the two teams.
• The Tigers won their second ACC series in as many attempts, but saw their 10-game win streak and 13-game home game win streak snapped by Pittsburgh (March 8).

• Through 26 games played, Clemson is outscoring its opponents 168 to 94 and is 16-0 when the Tiger score five runs or more.

ACC NETWORK

• Three Clemson games are set to stream on ACC Network this season, which including Clemson's inaugural home opener, a doubleheader against Western Carolina which Clemson split 1-1 on Feb. 12.

• The Tigers will also face NC State (March 22) and Florida State (April 19) on ACC Network.

RITTMAN VS. PRESBYTERIAN COLLEGE
• Tuesday's matchup against the Blue Hose will mark the first time in Clemson Head Coach John Rittman's career in which he will square off against Presbyerian College.

HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE

• Clemson currently ranks sixth in the NCAA in home attendance with an average of 1,551 per game (through March 9).
• Clemson is 13-2 inside Clemson Softball Stadium.

ACC STANDINGS

• With 11 of 13 ACC teams having played in at least one conference series (as of March 9), the Tigers are in sole possession of third place in the ACC standings.

WIN STREAKS
• Clemson's 10-game winning streak and 13-game winning streak at Clemson Softball Stadium came to an end with an 8-2 loss to Pitt (March 8).
• During the 10-game win streak, the Tigers had six players hit at least .400, outscored their opponents 78-31 and never surrendered a single run in the seventh inning.
• Clemson also hit .360 with runners in scoring position, while CU opponents hit just .164.
• In the Tiger's 13-game home win streak, CU out-hit its opponents 131-65 and outmatched them in home runs 18-4.

RECEIVING VOTES

• For the first time in its inaugural season, the Clemson Softball team received votes (10) in the March 2nd USA Today/NFCA Coaches poll.

CLEMSON NCAA STATISTICAL RANKINGS

• As of March 9, Clemson ranks 11th in the nation with 44 doubles on the year, and 15th in home runs with 30

INDIVIDUAL NCAA STATISTICAL RANKINGS
• Junior utility player Marissa Guimbarda is tied for fourth in the nation with 11 home runs on the season and tied for 12th in RBIs with 12.
• Freshman RHP/OF Valerie Cagle is also tied for fifth in the nation with 33 RBIs on the year, and 13th in home runs with nine.
• With 10 doubles on the year, junior outfielder Grace Mattimore ranks 10th in the nation in total doubles.
