Moments ago, Clemson picked up another great prospect as four-star wideout Troy Stellato‍ picked the Tigers over Ohio State.

Stellato visited Clemson this past fall during the Wake Forest game and most recently was in Tiger Town for the Elite Junior Day in March.

Joining wideouts Dacari Collins‍ and Beaux Collins‍ in the 2021 class, Stellato gives Clemson another weapon in the passing game.

The Fort Lauderdale, Florida native, attends Cardinal Gibbons High School and becomes Clemson’s 14th commitment in the 2021 class.

Stellato had nothing but good things to say about both the Tigers and the Buckeyes but revealed that he is “All-In,” wearing a white shirt with an orange Clemson paw under his jacket.

Asked about why he picked the Tigers, Stellato noted that Coach Swinney and the environment just seemed to feel right.

“I kind of fell in love with everything they preach about and how they run their program. I felt like there wasn’t another program like it. They produce great wide receivers,” Stellato said.

“I feel like you couldn’t go wrong with each, but I had a gut feeling that’s where I wanted to be. I love everything about Clemson. I love the atmosphere,” Stellato said. “Fell in love with Coach Swinney and Coach Grisham. I can’t wait to get to work with him.”

Asked about the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on his recruitment, Stellato noted that his final visit was to Tiger Town and that it was a big deal.

“It was a huge factor because it was my last visit,” Stellato said. “They told me a lot of things that I wanted to hear. It felt like home. I didn’t want to be anywhere else.”
