Clemson tight end out for 2020 season
Dabo Swinney announced earlier today that Luke Price is out for the 2020 season with a torn ACL. We knew Price had been banged up recently but got the word of his injury moments ago.

Joined the program in 2017 and now enters 2020 having appeared in 18 career games (one start) and having compiled four catches for 41 yards … transitioned from linebacker to tight end during the 2019 offseason.
2019: Posted four catches for 41 yards in 203 snaps over 15 games (one start) … saw first career action at tight end vs. Georgia Tech, helping block for Clemson’s 411 rushing yards … recorded his first career reception on a 19-yard pass from Chase Brice vs. Charlotte … caught a three-yard pass vs. Florida State … gained 14 yards on a reception vs. Boston College … caught a five-yard pass vs. No. 22 Virginia in the ACC Championship Game.
2018: Played on special teams in three games … made Clemson debut vs. Duke.
2017: Redshirted.
Before Clemson: Lettered at Dillon Christian School.
Personal: Born Sept. 22, 1998 … his brother, Phillip, was an offensive tackle at Clemson … majoring in health science … completed a microinternship at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Fla. in 2019.
