Could the Clemson Tigers have the next Kyle Parker on their hands?
Will Taylor, a 2021 Clemson baseball commit, announced that he had received an offer to play football at Clemson University on Tuesday morning.
Taylor is the quarterback for Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, S.C., and had previously expressed interest in testing the football waters at Clemson. He would likely get converted into a slot receiver should he accept the Tigers’ offer.
Taylor visited the campus back on March 7, and seemed to have admiration for the football program.
“The facilities and people are great at Clemson,” said Taylor on the day of his visit. “(The highlight was) definitely getting to talk with the coaches and building relationships.”
As for Clemson’s 2021 recruiting class, Taylor is the first in-state athlete to receive an offer for the Tigers. He committed to Clemson baseball in July of 2019.
