Fox Sports' Joel Klatt likes Alabama over Clemson
Earlier today Fox Sports' Twitter account released this video from analyst Joel Klatt giving his thoughts on why Alabama was going to knock off Clemson in the Sugar Bowl.
Klatt focused on the yards that former Clemson Deshaun Watson racked up against Alabama in the past two title contests. In those games, Watson directly accounted for 941 of 1,061 yards put up against the Crimson Tide defense.
“He’s not walking through those doors," Klatt noted of Deshaun Watson.
Klatt then turned his focus to Kelly Bryant, "I think if you give Nick Saban this amount of time versus a young quarterback who was inconsistent; played good down the stretch but was inconsistent during the course of the season. You get healthy if you’re Alabama, I like Alabama. I like Alabama to beat Clemson.”
It sounds like Klatt doesn't expect a dynamic quarterback performance from Clemson's Kelly Bryant on January 1st.
