- Sports have always been part of her family as her grandfather played college basketball and was a high school basketball coach
- Comes from a military family with her parents being in the Army
- Her parents played basketball and whenever her family moved they would always try to find out what basketball team she should try to play with and was very competitive with her brother in more than just sports
- Was very fortunate to get a job with ESPN directly out of college after graduating from the University of North Carolina
- She’s still motivated by her inner drive to be the vest version of herself by always looking at different ways to learn
- Being someone who is continuously helping others is another source of fulfillment for her and why she wanted to be involved with The Winning Edge Leadership Academy
