The Storylines

The game's removal from last year's schedule delayed an opportunity that now awaits Clemson's 2021 squad. Clemson has won each of the series' last six games, including wins in Columbia in 2015, 2017 and 2019. A Clemson win on Saturday would give the Tigers seven straight wins against the Gamecocks and would tie the 1934-40 Tigers for the longest winning streak by either team in series history. A win would also make Dabo Swinney the first coach on either side to win seven straight games in the series.

Good evening everyone! Checking in as we are closing in on kickoff on like Lawton said a wild day of college football rivalries. Alabama trails Auburn 20-17 in double OT and Ohio State got upset by Michigan today.

I like what I'm seeing with the run game formations from Clemson tonight. Lots of two tight end sets with the back offset beside DJU. Tigers have ran for 179 yards so far tonight as the OL is pushing South Carolina around.

We have a timeout on the field with 1:29 to play before the half. Clemson leads 17-0.

Clemson unable to get out of their own endzone on that drive and are forced to punt. Tigers still lead 20-0. 3:22 to play in the third quarter as South Carolina will start inside Clemson territory. This is a huge series for the Gamecocks if they're going to make a comeback. Zeb Noland enters the game for SC.
