Justyn Ross' rookie season ends before it begins, Chiefs place wideout on IR

The Chiefs have placed former Clemson Tiger Justyn Ross on the IR. He is out for the season after recently undergoing foot surgery. Tough blow for Ross, who had often shown flashes with Kansas City during his short time with the team.

Ross was already overcoming the odds after returning from surgery on a congenital fusion of his neck and spine which led him to drop out of the NFL Draft this past April.
