Swinney on Clemson quick turnaround: 'We've gotta be smart with the guys this week'

The Clemson Tigers have a quick turnaround following their 41-10 win over Georgia Tech Monday night in Atlanta. Following practice on Tuesday, Dabo Swinney met with the media to recap some notes after watching the film of the game and to preview Furman.
Swinney also took a moment to recognize the late Doc Hoover as one of the most respected and loved people he's been around in his 20 years at Clemson. Hoover, a Clemson Legend, passed away Monday night.
On the win over Georgia Tech:
"1-0. Got that first goal done. Got some good work in. We've gotta be smart with the guys this week. Just a couple of days to prep and get them ready."
On injuries after the GT game:
"Typical game stuff. Right now, not anybody I foresee being out. A couple of guys kind of banged up, but nothing serious."
On playing Furman:
"We don't treat it any different. That's why we've been consistent. We play Clemson every week-- that's not 'Coach Speak'-- that's what it takes."
On K.J. Henry:
"Just his improvement as a player. He would have never had a stat line like that a couple of years ago. It's a reminder that this is a developmental game. He's transformed his body. His motor is a much higher level. He's way more physical."
On Clemson’s CBs:
"Yeah, we've got three starters, and they all did some good things-- they all did some bad things. Too many missed tackles. Dropped a pick-six. Great break on the ball by Nate (Wiggins). That's a walk-in right there. Those are plays we've got to make."
On Beaux Collins:
"Beaux is way wise beyond his years. That's the live football he's played-- no scrimmages. That's the first time he's been tackled. Because he got hurt 7-8 days into camp, he missed all the live competitive work. He's the guy that wants to be a pro."
