Swinney on facing Spencer Rattler: 'He can make every throw'

Swinney on the atmosphere:

"Another great crowd. Just a really good football game by our guys. We did a lot of really good things."

Swinney on Clemson’s performance vs. Miami: 

"I thought D.J. did a great job-- as did Mitchell (Mayes). A lot of good things in the game. Defensively-- it was dominant. 98 total yards, only 8 at the half and 40 of that came on one play."

Swinney on South Carolina:

"This is a game that it doesn't matter what your records are. It doesn't matter if you're coming in off of three big wins in a row-- or three big losses in a row-- this is a game that you throw all that stuff out. It's all about THIS game."

Swinney 'got to watch a good bit of' South Carolina's game last night:

"That's a tough place to go play. Momentum is a powerful thing in a game like that. They just really played a complete ballgame, and once they got going-- they just kept pouring it on."

Swinney on Spencer Rattler:

”I watched him when he was at Oklahoma. He was a highly recruited guy. He can move around well. He’s really good in the pocket. He can make every throw. He throws really well on the move. Just a really good football player. That’s why he was the starter at Oklahoma and as highly recruited as he was. He’s got a great arm. He’s a competitive kid. All those things jump off the screen when you watch him.”
