There’s a lot to like about Ian Reed. The four-star was a senior leader in an offense that scored 37 points per game, wracking up 71 touchdowns and 5465 yards in 16 games this season. The Vandegrift offense was one of the most high-powered in Texas and propelled the team to a 6A state title game appearance. The program finished ranked No. 35 in the final MaxPreps rankings after a 14-win campaign.
Reed’s size immediately jumps out in addition to his 320-pound bench press and 500-pound squat numbers (per his Hudl page). He paved the way for his team’s offensive success and consistently took opposing Edge defenders out of the picture this fall.
Morgan Thomas - Played LT as a senior. Looks the part of a big physical tackle. Dominates the line of scrimmage at HS level. Regularly gets 5 yards or more past the line. Decent footwork and balance. Plays out in space and can set the edge for outside runs. Wide base and confident in run or pass protection.
