Our Take:

Luke Winstel

Green publicly stated throughout the recruiting process that Clemson was his dream school. After Clemson extended an offer, it was only a matter of time before he signed to become a Tiger.

The in-state recruit has consistently posted good tape, and CJ Spiller prioritized Green toward the second half of the season. The three-star’s ability to consistently manufacture big plays made him an in-state prospect Clemson could not afford to miss on in this cycle.

The Tigers took it to the wire regarding running back recruiting in the 2023 class, but they are pulling in a pair of backs coming off strong senior seasons with some upside. The Green and Haynes tandem has the potential to be the next big-play duo in Death Valley.

Morgan Thomas - Stated that speed/break away speed has been the main concern for college scouts with him. While he may not have the long distance breakaway speed, he does have really good vision and patience. He finds lanes and follows blocks very well. He will use his offensive linemen to his advantage and conserve his energy when needed. He will be OL success dependant. But is a gamer and will do everything to find a way.
