Owens is a top 215 overall player in the 2023 class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He initially chose Clemson over Georgia, Florida State, South Carolina, and others.
During the season, the four-star briefly de-committed from Clemson, visited Florida State, and quickly re-committed to Clemson.
On the field, ‘Flapjack’ is a ferocious blocker that gets to the second level well. After cementing himself as a starter at Eagles Landing Christian Academy, he quickly became known around Georgia for his elite size and pancake blocks.
Morgan Thomas - Height and weight say much of the story. He is huge and young. Concerns will be on weight control. Punisher. Bowling ball. A guy who seems to be athletic enough to lead runs. Played both tackle positions as a junior. Decommitted to check out FSU but quickly recommitted a few days later.
