It was 1984 so there is no video. I had made varsity as a 10th grader but wasn't in the rotation. It was a tight game and players started fouling out. Game goes to overtime...another guy fouls out. No more rotation guys left so coaches have to dip into the bench warmers. I get the call. We get to 10 seconds left in OT with the ball down 1. Coach calls timeout and draws up a play for our best player to take the final shot. He doesn't even include me in the play. As we go back on the court I say "coach, what do you want me to do?" On his whiteboard, he puts an X in the corner away from the play and says "you stand there."

We run the play, our guy comes off screens and gets the ball, the play breaks down and our guy has nothing. He panics and throws it to me in the corner. I calmly hit an 18 footer at the buzzer. A pure "nothing-but-net" walk off...net was wrapped on the rim. It definitely wasn't how it was drawn up
