Clemson Basketball Listed As Two-Seed in CBS Bracketology

Clemson basketball has had some bad breaks in losing out on the Zion Williamson sweepstakes, and then losing forward Donte Grantham for the season. But the Tigers still defeated Notre Dame over the weekend, upping their record to 16-3 (5-2 ACC), and Jerry Palm of CBS Sports likes what the Tigers have done this year, listing them as a two-seed in his latest bracketology.

He has the Tigers paired up with 15th seeded Bucknell, who currently sit at 13-8 overall but lead the Patriot League and would get in via an automatic bid. If the Tigers win that, they would face either 7th seeded Kentucky or 10th seeded Providence, according to Palm's projections.

The Tigers have wins over 20th-ranked Florida (SEC) and 13th-ranked Ohio State (Big Ten), who each lead their conferences. They also have wins over Louisville and Miami in huge ACC games.

The Tigers will travel to Virginia on Tuesday, who is listed as a one-seed by Palm. They must, however, figure out how to replace senior leader Donte Grantham if they want to maintain their seeding, and come out of Charlottesville with a big ACC win.
