Nation's No. 7 recruit picks Clemson over Tennessee, UConn, and South Carolina
Clemson women's head basketball coach Amanda Butler secured a huge commitment from five-star guard Imari Berry on Saturday. Berry (5'10), a standout from Clarksville High, (TN), made her decision official by announcing for the Tigers over powerhouse programs like Connecticut, South Carolina, and Tennessee via her Instagram account.
Berry is No. 7 overall on ESPN's 2024 recruiting class rankings and was named The Leaf-Chronicle (TN) girls' basketball player of the year after averaging 26.1 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and four steals in 2022. The No. 2 guard (ESPN) also shot 40 percent from the three-point line and had offers from over 30 schools.
Berry averaged 14.1 points as a freshman and 24.6 points as a sophomore.
