Dabo Swinney held his final press conference before Clemson's game against FSU on Saturday at Death Valley. Here are a few unedited notes along with the full video above.

On Walker Parks’ status: “He’s lower body. He practiced yesterday, but we held him today. He’s day-to-day.”

On possibly playing both Andrew Mukuba and Khalil Barnes: “It’s a good situation. It’s nice to not have to play a guy 70 snaps. When you’ve got good depth, it's no different than any other position. Any time you have depth, you want to be able to use it. It’s a great thing. Like Shipley and Mafah, it’s nice to be able to rotate guys throughout the game.”

On dealing with FSU’s running backs in the passing game: “It’s really hard, and they do a great job. They’ve got great backs who can catch the ball and really run after the catch. It’s really difficult because there is a lot of play-action involved. We’ve just got to find a way to be great on first down.”

On what’s made Jordan Travis better: “The game just looks slow for him. He’s very poised. He’s a great leader. He doesn’t flinch. He doesn’t panic. He’s got a complete understanding. He’s got a great grasp of what they are doing. When you’ve done something as long as he has, you understand the game within the game and the nuances of what you do.”

On if the team is practice has more energy with FSU coming to town: “They are excited and all that, but we don’t practice any different. We’ve tried to be smart with them this week with such a late, late, night Saturday night and then an early game this week. I think that’s a situation where you try to pay attention to all your analytics, data, and GPS on some of your high-rep guys, you try to be smart there. Today was just a Working Man Wednesday like every week, and next week it will be a Working Man Wednesday.”

On borrowing a basketball player from Brad Brownell to simulate facing 6’7 Johnny Wilson: “I probably should have. He probably wouldn’t have let me, though. I have been trying to get, what’s my man’s name, Schieffelin, that’s my guy right there. When he’s done with basketball, I’m going to get him out here for d-end, tight end. He’s a football player over there playing basketball. I love that guy. He’s the Renfrow of our basketball team. A good player, smart, tough. He’d be a great football player.”
