During his Sunday Teleconference, Dabo Swinney gave an update on star defensive back Nate Wiggins. Wiggins went down late in Clemson's 31-24 overtime loss to Florida State with an injury that looked to be very significant. After an MRI today, Swinney had good news to report on Wiggins’ health.

“Very encouraged on the news we got on Nate (Wiggins),” Swinney noted. “More of a bone bruise, no ligament damage, so that's the good news.”

Swinney didn’t detail a timeline for Wiggins’ return, but it sounds like it will be sooner rather than later.

“I don’t know if he is missing a game or not,” Swinney said later in the teleconference.

Swinney said that Jeadyn Lukus would be the next man up at this time.
