Four-star Georgia tight end commits to Clemson
Four-star tight end Logan Brooking committed to Clemson Friday afternoon. He’s the program’s second 2025 commit in the past three days, alongside three-star offensive lineman Easton Ware.
Brooking is a 6’4, 235-pound tight end from Savannah Christian Prep in Savannah, Ga. The junior released a top eight list Wednesday that included the Tigers, alongside Florida, Penn State, Miami, UNC, Michigan, South Carolina, and Stanford.
It only took him two days to cut that list to one, committing to Clemson the afternoon after playing a Thursday night high school game.
Brooking is the No. 256-ranked player in the junior class, the No. 14 tight end, and the No. 30 prospect from Georgia.
He visited Clemson recently for the game against Florida State. The four-star is the son of former NFL linebacker Keith Brooking. He told us about his strong bond with the Clemson program when we visited his game against Marist High School in Atlanta. Click here to view that video interview.
Brooking joins Ware, four-star running back Gideon Davidson and four-star quarterback Blake Hebert in the Tigers 2025 class. New Clemson OC Garrett Riley and the Tigers staff are off to a good start in the class with four early commits.
Tight ends coach Kyle Richardson has earned a commitment from an industry consensus four-star tight end in consecutive classes (Illinois native Christian Bentancur is the program’s 2024 commit).
It’s still very early, but the Tigers 2025 class is the best in the ACC and stands at No. 9 in the On3 industry consensus rankings.
Tale of the tape:
Brooking is a versatile and dynamic tight end. He’s a very physical, tough-nosed run blocker who gets involved in the passing game often. Brooking can be productive in the screen game while making competitive catches downfield. He’s tough to tackle and likely a good fit in the Riley offensive scheme.
The four-star released an updated junior year highlight reel earlier today:
