Clemson Tight End Out for the Year with Torn ACL

During his teleconference with the media on Sunday, Dabo Swinney said that Clemson tight end Sage Ennis will be out for the year after suffering a torn ACL against Georgia Tech. This season Ennis has three receptions for 52 yards. 

On Josh Sapp filling the void: “Josh is ready. He’s been waiting his time. He’s a very natural athlete really understands the game. He’s got a high aptitude for the game. PLays with great confidence, and obviously, he took advantage of it the other day.”

Swinney also noted that Olsen Patt-Henry and Markus Dixon could also see opportunities at tight end.
