Rob Hughes, a 6’3”, 215-pound right-handed pitcher, has committed to finish his college baseball career at Clemson after the Furman Paladins shutdown their baseball program recently due to funding issues caused by the COVID-19 virus.

Hughes posted to his Instagram account, “Following the removal of the Furman baseball program, I’m excited to announce that I’ll be continuing my academic and athletic career at Clemson University. #gotigs”
