Tigers Look to Keep Winning Ways, Play Hurricanes in Miami
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Clemson Tigers women’s basketball team (11-12, 4-7) travels to Florida to play the Miami Hurricanes (14-7, 4-6).

Clemson is on a roll and has won its last three games. The Tigers held their opponents to an average of 61 points per game over that stretch, and are undefeated when they hold their foes under 70 points this season. In Clemson’s game against Boston College, the Tigers held BC scoreless from beyond the three-point line. That contest was the first time the Tigers have held an opponent to zero makes from outside since 2017.
Amari Robinson is cementing her legacy as a Tiger legend with an unbelievable final season. She leads the Tigers this season in scoring (17.2 ppg) and rebounding (6.7 rpg) and is one of the most efficient scorers in the country. Amari is the ACC leader in true shooting percentage (.643) and effective field goal percentage (.594).
During Clemson’s three-game winning streak, Robinson has shot at an ultra-efficient 50/60/89 clip, including going 16/18 from the free-throw line in that same stretch.
Robinson currently ranks fourth in Tiger history with 1,761 career points. She needs 35 more to move into third place. Her 898 career rebounds are good enough for fourth-most in Tigers history, and she needs 43 rebounds to surpass Lele Hardy for third-most.
Dayshanette Harris, a fifth-year student-athlete who played four years at Pitt, is having a career year. Harris is scoring over 12 points per game and is shooting at the best clip of her career. She’s shooting a career-high of 46% from the floor and is ranked fourth in the nation in assist percentage (43.0).
Harris had one of the best games of her career in Clemson’s win against Virginia. She nearly recorded a triple-double as she racked up 23 points, nine assists, eight rebounds, and drew an astounding 15 fouls. She also made a career-high 11 free throws.
In Clemson’s three-game winning streak, Harris is putting up 15.6 points, 5.3 assists, 4.6 rebounds, and two steals per contest.
Ruby Whitehorn has hit her stride in Clemson’s recent games. The talented sophomore has had the best rebounding stretch of her career over the past few weeks. She has tied her career high in rebounds with nine against Wake Forest and Virginia, and she gathered eight more in the Tigers’ win against Boston College.
Whitehorn’s points per game (11.8), field-goal percentage (48%), free-throw percentage (73%), and steals per game (1.5) have all increased significantly from her freshman campaign.
