With the 2026 recruiting season in full swing and offers going out rapidly, here's an overview of where Clemson stands as they begin to build out their offers on the offensive side of the football.
At quarterback, the Tigers recently dispensed two offers: one to Brady Hart, who committed to Michigan, and another to Tait Reynolds from Queen Creek High School in Queen Creek, Arizona. At this point, it’s hard to determine if Hart was the “apple of Clemson’s eye,” but after our interview with Reynolds, as he returned home, we can tell you that the 6’1. 195-pounder has his sights set on the Tigers.
Reynolds has a maturity that we found rare in our conversations with him. Listen to this interview, and you will see why we like him. No wonder the staff also likes what they see and hear from him.
Reynolds is also interested in playing baseball in college; he’s currently an Arizona State baseball commit. However, Dabo Swinney didn’t rule out the opportunity for Reynolds to play both sports in college, and the four-star quarterback seemed to like that aspect of the Tigers' offer.

Moving on to the wideouts, the Tigers have high hopes for two current freshmen, T.J. Moore and Bryant Wesco, but it still feels like Clemson has to improve by locating wide receivers who fit the billing that Tee Higgins and Mike Williams brought to the table. The roster under Tyler Grisham has lacked rangy guys who can turn 50-50 balls into 80-20 plays by taking advantage of elite basketball skills.
The Tigers were once known as Wide Receiver U, and if they want to keep that billing, the next few cycles need to produce elite play.
Clemson has offers out to seven prospects at WR, with one landing on in-state talent Donovan Murph from Irmo. Murph, at 6’3, is right on the cusp of that coveted length we are talking about, and with two years left at the high school level, he could easily work his way to being that 6’4-6’5 prospect we are talking about.
Murph told us after the offer that Clemson’s message was simple: “Their message was to keep working and continue to grind hard.” Additionally, the Midlands star said he appreciates the environment in Tiger Town. “I like how they are player-based and treat everyone like family.”
The Tigers could expand their board with another in-state star if they dispense an offer to four-star Jordon Gidron from Ridge View High School in Columbia.
Additionally, four-star Cederian Morgan checks in at 6’5 and has the frame to match. The Yellowhammer State native told ClemsonSportsTalk.com that the Clemson offer was significant. “it means a lot to realize that a great coach like Coach Swinney sees my talent.”
We will have more from Morgan in an exclusive interview next week for our PREMIUM subscribers. Join today and get THREE months of CST+ for just $1.00. Get one year for just $63.17!!

RUNNING BACK
At running back, the Tigers have yet to dispense an offer, but several notable prospects remain to watch. Interestingly, C.J. Spiller hasn’t put out an offer yet, but it likely won’t be long. Clemson’s 2025 class carries two commits at the position in four-stars Gideon Davidson and Marquise Henderson.
For the 2026 group, the four-star local product Jaylen McGill (Broome HS, Spartanburg, SC) has to be considered one to watch. You should know two other names with four-star billings: Savion Hiter from Woodberry Forest High School (Woodberry Forest, VA) and Jonaz Walton from Central High in Carrollton, Georgia.
TIGHT END
The Tigers really like freshman Christian Bentancur, and we expect he will have time to develop this season. The 2025 class currently has three-star Logan Brooking, son of former NFL star Keith Brooking, committed.
As for the 2026 class, Tayveon Wilson gained the first offer at TE, although he’s listed as a wideout. Wilson, at 6’3, 205 pounds, begins the pass-cathing skill set that the Tigers covet at the position. We recently sat down with Wilson and will have more on his recruitment in the coming days.
Right now, Looking down the line, only one player stands out, and we know the Tigers have an interest in three-star Caton Cramer from Seminole High School in Seminole, Texas. The Tigers
Clemson’s philosophy is to keep a tight offer sheet, and right now, these prospects would be our best guesses for the two unoffered skill positions. The good news is that a snug list allows for stronger relationships with less attrition over the long haul.
- On3 Rating: No Rating
