Welcome back to another quick Three and Out on Monday morning. We’ve got several updates, including one confirmed new visitor to the Tigers’ Elite Retreat and a few trimmed lists on the recruiting front.

First, another priority target on the offensive line, Grant Wise‍, confirmed that he will be in Tiger Town for the Elite Retreat on March 8. Wise told us last week that Dabo Swinney and Matt Luke were scheduled to visit on Tuesday, and that meeting did indeed take place. We’ve been in contact with Wise and will have more from him in the coming days.

Clemson also locked in an Elite Retreat visit with four-star offensive lineman Adam Guthrie‍. Swinney and Luke visited Guthrie on Jan. 27, 2025. The 6’7, 292-pound standout from Miami Trace High School in Washington Court House, Ohio, has also helped lead his high school basketball team to a 16-0 start.

Sticking with the offensive line, North Augusta three-star OL Malcolm Gaston‍ released a Top 4 that does not include Clemson. The Tigers never extended an offer to the in-state prospect from McCormick, S.C. The 6’5, 330-pound interior offensive lineman named FSU, Georgia, Florida, and Virginia Tech as his finalists.

Speaking of trimming down lists, four-star cornerback Samari Matthews‍  (who we wrote about last week) is down to four schools as well noting that Clemson, South Carolina, Oregon, and Florida State remain in the mix.

Clemson recently extended an offer to four-star defensive back Blake Stewart‍. Swinney and safeties coach Mickey Conn visited Woodward Academy in College Park, Georgia, last week, and Stewart received his offer from the Tigers on January 16.

Stewart told ClemsonSportsTalk.com that his recruitment has been going well and the Tigers have maintained consistent communication.

“It’s been going really well with Clemson,” Stewart said. “I’ve been in regular contact with them, and they’ve been showing a lot of love since the offer.”

The 6’1, 190 pounder said that one of the main topics they’ve discussed is how much Clemson thinks he is a natural in the enviroment Swinney has cultivated.

“They let me know how I’d fit into their program,” Stewart said.

Stewart visited Clemson in the fall on November 2 for the Tigers matchup against Louisville. We’ve yet to confirm if he will be at the Tigers’ Elite Retreat.

As Clemson presses towards the big March 8 event, we will continue to bring you more updates on the top targets on the Tigers’ board.
