Clemson's linebacker legacy continues to grow as the Tigers have secured a commitment from 2027 four-star prospect Max Brown. The Jefferson High School standout from Jefferson, Georgia, is the younger brother of current Clemson linebacker Sammy Brown, a former five-star recruit.
Standing at 6’0 and weighing 225 pounds, Brown has made a significant impact on the field early in his high school career. According to an article on Nowhabersham.com, as a sophomore, he led the Jefferson Dragons with 152 tackles, including 14 tackles for loss, and contributed two sacks, a forced fumble, and three recoveries. His performance earned him a spot on the MaxPreps Sophomore All-American Second Team Defense.
Max's commitment to Clemson not only reunites him with his brother but also continues a family tradition deeply rooted in football. Their father, Michael Brown, is a football coach, and both brothers have been immersed in the sport from a young age.
Brown’s commitment is the first for Clemson in the 2027 recruiting class.
